Great parade of national Ukrainian embroidered shirts called “Poltava Vyshyvana”.

On the 19-th, September in Poltava there will be a great parade of national Ukrainian embroidered shirts called “Poltava Vyshyvana”.

This event starts at 11.30 a.m. near Soborny square. It is the 3-d year our city – cultural capital of our country – holds this activity on the eve of our City Day (23-d, SEP). During the parade everybody can be involved in the program. All people who wish to participate are invited: among them groups of different educational establishments, factories, organizations, agencies and guests of Poltava.

Web site of our Poltava City Council informs the parade will begin near White Rotunda and will be finished near Gogol Theatre square.

During this day there will be different activities, among them:
- national craft’s fair;
- different master-classes of folk craftsmen;
- festive trade;
- concert program and many surprises during the day.
