Address: Pobyvanka village area, near Zenkovska road.

There is the monument to the Swedes from their compatriots not far from Poltava, near Pobyvanka village. The pyramid’s height is about 6 meters. It was made from red granite and was delivered from Sweden. The words «In Memory of the Swedes Who Fell Here in 1709, Erected by Their Countrymen in 1909» are inscribed on monolith’s both sides in Swedish and Russian languages. The overhead part of the monument has a small slant to the north and for Scandinavian people it symbolizes deep sorrow.
